Randi’s bio:

I took a circuitous route to medicine, having degrees in English literature and Intercultural Management. I went to Indiana University for medical school then UW for my medicine residency. I worked at Virginia Mason as a hospitalist for 11 years during which I earned a Teaching Scholars certificate and Palliative Care certification and became part of the core faculty in their medicine residency. I came back to Harborview when I was burned out on medicine because my colleague said it would make medicine fun again (it did). I now work half time and spend the rest of my time training as an aerialist and working with my husband on his thriller novels.
