Carl’s Bio:

Carl Wigren is a board-certified forensic pathologist with additional certification in anatomic pathology. He is licensed in Washington and California. He has performed approximately 3,000–3,500 autopsies in medical examiner, coroner, hospital, and private practice settings, including 150 autopsies in 2025, and has provided sworn testimony in over 150 criminal and civil cases. He completed medical school and anatomic pathology residency at the University of Washington, followed by fellowships at the King County Medical Examiner’s Office in Seattle and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the owner of Wigren Forensic, PLLC and Wigren Medical Corp, performs hospital autopsies for Kaiser Permanente Washington and Skagit Valley Hospital, and serves as a Clinical Rotation Director for Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. His international forensic work includes service in Israel, Puerto Rico, the Marshall Islands, Liberia, and New Zealand, where he provided medicolegal autopsy services and complex forensic evaluations
