Julianne’s Bio:

I have been a surgical PA in Orthopedic spine surgery at UW for nearly 7 years. Work tasks include rounding, independent and shared clinic visits, interpreting advanced images, determining surgical and non-surgical treatment plans, and surgical first assist. Projects include authoring patient educational material designed in the shared decision making model and providing patient-centered, public webinar  lectures on common spine ailments. Outside of work, I enjoy relaxing at home with my husband and our dog and 2 cats, playing board games (currently Frosthaven), baking, and, of course, spending time outdoors.
