Alumni Career Support Network
Your alumni family is a community of peers who understand the unique paths of careers in medicine, healthcare and research, and are especially well positioned to offer relevant, empathetic guidance drawn from lived experience.
Are you looking for clarity or a sounding board? Are you on the brink of a career or life transition? Our new Alumni Career Support Network provides peer support to help alumni at any career or life stage navigate transitions, make decisions and build connections.
“Career support” is intentionally defined loosely and may include connecting with alumni in a new city, peers with shared backgrounds or research interests, fellow retirees or others navigating common experiences such as early-career stress, or major life and career transitions. This is your space and your community.
Our Alumni Career Support Network offers peer support for alumni at every stage of their journey—providing space to explore options, make thoughtful decisions, and connect with others who understand the path.
Alumni volunteers support the real moments that shape lives and careers in medicine, healthcare, and research, such as:
- Navigating transitions and changes
- Professional challenges and pivots
- Building connections and community
- Peer mentoring and shared support
Thanks for your interest in being a volunteer! This resource is possible because of alumni like you, who are willing to offer up their time to support their fellow alumni. Fill out this form to learn more and get started as an Alumni Career Support Network volunteer.
The Alumni Career Support Network is designed to support alumni. However, if you are a student looking to connect with a current resident in your specialty or specialties of interest, Career Advising maintains a directory of Residents in Medicine (RiM). Learn more in the Residents in Medicine (RiM) Directory section of this page.
