Our medical students are tomorrow’s medical leaders — the people who will improve the health of our region and world. Learn more about our inspiring students and the contributions they are making to the health of our community.
“I don’t know how medical school would have been possible without scholarships,” says Ian Engerbretson. “For a long time, I’ve dreamed about becoming a doctor in a rural area to help solve the physician shortage. My whole family and I are so grateful for the gift of scholarships, which are helping to bring this dream to fruition.”
“Medical care isn’t easily accessible where I’m from,” says Jordan Baxter. “I want to provide those in my rural area with medical care they can trust.”
“I’m so thankful to the people who recognize the financial burden of medical school and contributed to UW School of Medicine scholarships to help alleviate that burden,” says Arianna Lee, MD ’24. “They invested in my future, and I hope to do the same.”
You, too, can support the next generation of medical leaders with a donation to the UW Medicine Scholarship Fund, which supports students at the UW School of Medicine.
